- Ribbons will be awarded when judging is complete.
- All photographs will remain on display with ribbons until 12:00 pm on Sunday, February 15.
- Photographs and ribbons may be picked up Sunday, February 15, between 12:00 – 1:00 pm.
How to Enter
Each Entry consists of 5 parts:
- Completed entry
- A single image
- A caption for your image
- An entry fee
- Mounted – 8x10 photo on black matboard with a 2" border around photo

You may enter any number of entries in any category. Each entry must include its own form, caption, and materials. Photos may be taken at any time.
Entry Fees
ADULT (18 and over): $10 per entry
JUNIOR (17 and under): $5 per entry
Format
Printed format:
All mailed or in-person submissions must be 8 x 10, printed on photo paper, and matted on black matboard with a 2" border.
Digital format:
Digital images must have a long dimension of at least 3,300 pixels, saved at 300 dpi in JPEG format.
Images may be color profiled in sRGB, Adobe-1998, or not color-managed. File size must not exceed 10 MB.
TXOLAN will print and mat digital submissions but is not responsible for nuances affecting final placement.
Deadlines / Submission of Entries
MAIL-IN ENTRIES
Must be postmarked by January 26 and received by January 31, 2026, 11:59 CDT.

DIGITAL SUBMISSIONS must be emailed and received by January 31, 2026.
IN-PERSON submissions due at check-in by 5:00 pm Thursday, February 12. Youth arriving Friday may submit upon check-in.
Awards
- If three or more entries exist in a category, ribbons for 1st through 3rd will be awarded.
- One Judge’s Choice Adult and Junior ribbon will be awarded.
